Jannatul Akmum is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering at City University, Bangladesh. She completed her B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), with a major in Environmental Engineering. Her academic and research interests focus on water quality, contaminant behavior, environmental engineering, and sustainable water-resource management. Alongside teaching undergraduate courses and sessional classes, she remains actively involved in research and academic development. Beyond academics, she has participated in debates, volunteer activities, and academic conferences, experiences that have strengthened her communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. She aims to pursue advanced graduate study and build a long-term research-oriented academic career.
