Nazneen Islam is a Lecturer in the Department of CSE. She completed her M.Sc. in CSE from Jahangirnagar University (JU) and earned her B.Sc. in CSE from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET). During her undergraduate studies at CUET, she was awarded the prestigious Government Merit Scholarship in recognition of her outstanding academic performance. Based on her excellent undergraduate results, she also received an academic course waiver during her M.Sc. studies at Jahangirnagar University. She has more than three years of experience in university-level teaching. She teaches undergraduate courses in core areas of computer science and actively contributes to academic and departmental activities. Throughout her teaching career, she has supervised over 50 undergraduate thesis and final-year project students, guiding them in research planning, system development, and technical report writing. Her research interests include machine learning, natural language processing, intelligent systems, and data-driven applications, with a particular focus on applied and interdisciplinary research. She has published her work in an international conference proceeding by Springer. Her ongoing research work reflects a strong commitment to developing intelligent data-driven solutions and contributing to emerging advancements in AI technologies. She is committed to effective teaching, student mentorship, and contributing to the continuous academic development of the department.
